    Since 3000 km the CLS works without any problems.
    The oil-flow can be adjusted during driving and the old chain lube bottle can be forgotten.
    The boxes installed at the XL, the  Gobi take their baggage and also with full water tanks the XL stays drivable.
    They look not straight, in spite of the correct installation, but their use is perfect!
    My rear tire Continental TKC80 has now been used about 4000 km and he still works perfect at everey weather and ground.

    Since 1300 km I am using the Continental TKC80 as rear tire and I am content with it!
    At the beginning it was a little bit uncomfortable to drive, but after the coarse profil has becam a little more round, the tire is normal to handle and he 'bits into the ground' away from asphalt.

    Touratech Hawker battery
    Because of this installation the starting problem of the Baghira has been solved. In spite of some mechanics who won't belief that the battery has been the source of the starting problem ;-))

    Heating grips
    At first the Baghira was prepared with Saito ®-Hot Grips.
    Ater a few weeks they have been changed for the more expansive but much more easier to installing heating grips by Daytona ®.
    Why? Some days after installing the grips, the anchor-sheet, holding the very big main switch, smashed.
    At the moment were the throttle grip was blocked by the heating grip, it became dangerous and the grips had to leave.
    We hope that the new ones will live longer...

    F...! My XL failed again!
    The distance of the elctrode has becam near 0,95 mm - that was definite to much! After installing a new spark plug the engine now works as fine as ever.

    In the last few weeks my XL failed from time to time. The machine stopped for a few minutes, than it worked until the next break... After a quick-training in deinstalling and installing the carburetter ( if every thing were as simple as in the owners manual... ) and a few curses the cleaned carburettor was installed and my XL works as usual.
    Until the next fail...!
    I had to take away the ventilation pipe from the fuel tank cap the engine works again.

    Now the MuZ does have a break which can be measured out much more better than the original one!
    After the brake master cylinder leaked at km 17.778 it has been replaced by a used one from Yamaha.
