Plannings in February 2005:

The beginning of our journey will be the first February in 2005. We want to go to Tunesia, across Sizilia and Italia to Greece and than we will take the ferry from Istanbul / Turkey to Ukraine.
Somewhere at the russian border we will meet Tommy and Rosa - they are in preparation since December 2003 and they planned nearly the same route - so we will work together for a while. It is their idea to visit motorcyle associations and to organize something for children together with other motorcyclists. We like this idea and so we will do our best to translate our plans in action.
In Vladivostock we will try to find a posibility to go straight to South-East-Asia. Because of Japan isn't a cheap place, we will inform us in Vladivostock for an alternative route to Malaysia, eg.
When we reached South-East-Asia, we will decide us about going to Australia.
We think that we will go on by ship to South-America for realizing another dream:
driving the legendary Panamericana straight to Canada.
By another ship or by plane we get from the east coast of Canada to Europe.
China is very expansive and difficult for entering by motorbike. We asked them for an offer for crossing the Mandschuria. For 4 persons by motorbikes and a time of four nights and five days we had to pay about 5000 U$!
No Hotel, no luxus, we justed asked for the permission and the conditions for entering the Mandschuria! So we decided that they should eat their rice-soupe on their one;-). It's a pitty, but that ist too much for our budget...

These all are theoretical plannings - we will see where we will go in real...
