Soon we left our well-known Europe and we will return at the end of our trip. Than it might be as known as Germany after a longer stay for holidays in foreign countries.
If you occupy yourself with the rest of the world more intensiv as usual, Europe becomes smaller, a little bit homely. Just China claims an area nearly as big as whole Europe...

We enterd Ukraina without any problem to got the visa to Ukraine. For about 90.-€ we got a one-way visa for about 6 month. Now we wouldn't need one now, but we didn't knew this before we ordered this visa.
An entry from inthe south of Ukraine is not possible by motorbike, because of big mud fields there is no frontier crossing point.
To entry by ferry is posible from Varna / Bulgaria or Istanbul / Turkey.

We got many different reactions on our idea to cross Russia. From comments like: "...you are mad!", "..you must take a weapon with you!" and "...look forward to a polite and friendly country!", we heard anything.
Even if it is much more easier to entry to the Russian Federation as at the time of the CCCP, it is still not easy to get the visa and permits. But this country has nothing lost of its fascination!
We are looking forward to our visit at 'Mummy Russia'!
We have ordered the visa to Russia, Ukraine and Mongolia! Unfortunalty we had to order a six-month buisness-visa - in cause of our planned route, there was no alternative for it. The advantage is the more time we have to cross Russia, but it costs 490,- € p.p.!

The already got informations are just needful for Germans, because of the entry-permits are different to these of other nations, so we publicated further entry-informations only on our german site.

Asia - huge, fascinating and not always easy to compare...

Until now we mainly searched information about Mongolia and entering China. Unfortunately it seems that China still do not like free-traveling tourists with their own motorbikes- we found no possibility to enter this fascinating country without guide / for about 150€ per day! ) and a fixed route.
After a difficult research we found a possibility to cross China with ones own vehicle:
Travel-agencies like for example NAVO-TOUR are offering the whole journey including preparation and getting the needed permits and visa. Everything is possible - it is just a question of money...

It is not amazing what we had to accept about Africa - one of the most fascinating continents of the earth, but at the moment we read and heard mostly about the danger and many small civil wars. So a crossing from the North to the South is only possible while taking a great risk - we have noo experiencee in long-distance travelling yet, so we did not want to take the risk and will only go to Tunesia.
There we already got an adress of a doctor who works on handicapped children. We are looking forward to meet him and probably we will return to this continent on our way back to Europe.
